Aloe Purifying Cleanser

From the moment you squeeze some of the Aloe Purifying Cleanser onto your fingertips you can really get a feel of what the Sonya Skin Care Collection is all about.  The scent of the cleanser is absolutely beautiful, my daughter said a bit like lemon cupcakes! It contains aloe and fruit extracts.  I used the cleanser on my face, neck and upper chest, massaging in and leaving on for a little while.  The cleanser feels really luxurious and its surprising the amout of makeup it removes. I used the cleanser at the end of the day and I thought most of my makeup had worn off, but it was amazing what was removed.  I also used the cleanser to remove my mascara, rubbing in with my fingertips and then removing with cotton wool pads.  I’ve got quite sensitive eyes, but the cleanser did not irritate them and removed all of the mascara.

Aloe Deep-Cleansing Exfoliator

The booklet explains that you can use the Aloe Deep-Cleansing Exfoliator 2-3 times a weeks after cleansing with the Aloe Purifying Cleanser.  This exfoliator is absolutely amazing.  Although it seems to be very fine formulation it does a great job in exfoliating your skin.  The exfoliator contains aloe and natural jojoba beads which are kind to your skin and also to marine wildlife.  This is unlike most exfoliators on the market that contain plastic microbeads that contribute to pollution of our seas and waterbodies.

I moistened my face with a little water before massaging in the exfoliator, again this product had a very luxurious feel and had a gorgeous scent.  I rinsed off the product with slightly warm water.  My skin never felt so clean and smooth.

Aloe Refreshing Toner

Before using the refreshing toner I moistened my cotton wool pad with water then squeezed out.  I find with toner you often waste alot of the product if you put onto the cotton wool when it is dry so this helps it last a bit longer.  After wiping the toner over my face and neck my skin felt really refreshed and hydrated and looked as if I’d been for a salon facial.  The toner also smells fantastic.  It’s alcohol-free and just like the other products contains aloe vera and white tea.

Aloe Nourishing Serum

The Aloe Nourishing Serum is one of the Forever Living Products that everyone remembers once they have tried it.  Again it contains white tea and aloe vera.  The instruction leaflet that comes with the set suggests that you use 2-3 pumps on your fingertips, then apply to face and throat area – morning and evening. It’s just lovely and smells so good.  It feels like silk on your skin.  I now carry this product around with me everywhere and use as a hand cream too.

I also use the Aloe Nourishing Serum on the ends of my hair when it is nearly dry, or in between washes.  It hides split ends and makes your hair have the feeling that it has just been cut. With the extra bonus of that lovely scent that all of the products in the collection have. 

Aloe Balancing Cream

The Aloe Balancing Cream can be used morning and evening following the use of the Aloe Nourishing Serum.  It contains advanced moisturisers to help maintain proper moisture balance and appearance of the skin.  The pot that the cream is contained in has a tiny little plastic scoop under the lid so that you can measure just the right amount of cream to use. The cream felt fantastic on my skin similar to the serum.  It balances out your skin if you have drier areas and really plumps it out – great as a makeup primer.

Aloe Deep Moisturizing Cream

This cream again smells divine and is extremely nourishing for your skin. It is not part of the set but can be purchased separately and would be a great addition to the collection if you are thinking of purchasing 

 set or some of the items.  I have used this cream during the day under makeup and felt really soft, smooth and firm and after using it as night cream my skin looked great in the morning.  It really is deep moisturising and would be great for an anti-ageing skincare product for older
